United are refusing to rule out more signings during the summer transfer window, even though Chief Executive David Gill admits the club have now done the bulk of their business.

The Reds completed the captures of midfielder Owen Hargreaves from Bayern Munich on Friday, having already agreed deals for FC Porto star Anderson and Sporting Lisbon winger Nani just hours earlier.

Gill refused to be drawn on whether or not United are still chasing other targets, but insists the funds are there should Sir Alex Ferguson give him the green light.

"Obviously we've just done a major bit of business for a significant amount of money and by in large that'll be the main element of our business," Gill told MUTV.

"But who knows what will happen over the next couple of months. If a player comes up that Alex feels will improve the squad then I'm sure we'll find the funds we need."

The United manager recently revealed he had identified three transfer targets, but it's unclear as to whether Owen Hargreaves was part of that trio given that the Reds declared their interest in the midfielder nearly a year ago.
