While much of the attention in the build-up to the Reds' trip to Benfica has focused on Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo, Darren Fletcher is backing another of United's attacking stars to shine at the Stadium of Light.

“Last time we played here we had a lot of players injured and a lot of people not 100 per cent fit," recalled the Scot. “This year things are different and Louis is on fire. He makes such great runs and causes constant problems for defenders.
