Wayne Rooney feels he and his team-mates can negate Ruud van Nistelrooy's absence by sharing United's goalscoring burden this season.

Strike partner Saha subscribes to Rooney's view that it will take a collective effort to replace van Nistelrooy, and insists he feels no extra personal pressure to score more.

"It is a shame Ruud left," he said. "We will all have to work hard to try to fill that gap.
